LIBERIA: Nya Recovering!
One of Flames' inspirational point guards Nya Gbaintor seems to be recovering rapidly as evidenced by his splendid performance in the ongoing University Games at the Sports Commission.
The young and promising basketballer was seen at his best on Tuesday when he made debut for his Don Bosco Polytechnic, where he hit the highest score for side despite their defeat by AME University.
Nya scored over 20 points in his debut match.
Nya got a knee injury at the start of the season and missed most of the club's championship league matches.
The player's major role in his college game on Tuesday could be seen as good news for first division basketball club Flames, as they prepare for the knock out competition.
