MIRACLE Basketball Club is refusing to give up on the race for the MTN basketball league play-off qualifications ahead of today's clash with Falcons.

Miracle trails the Yello Max Conference table-leaders Falcons by five points and is confident of closing the gap after this evening's clash with the former league champions.

The Rubaga-based team ended relegation talk with a resounding 60-37 victory over Najja High two weeks ago and now turn their sights on play-offs.

Rallying behind Ben Komakech, Richard Aciko, James Kirabo, Michael Mawa and Raymond Bukenya, the side is hopeful of cutting Falcons' lead before their next game against Livingstone on Wednesday where they hope for another good display and maximum points.

Meanwhile, Judith Akoth is a doubt for Lady Bucks' vital second round clash against KCC Leopards because of a pending investigation.

Akoth stands to be suspended for 365 days if found guilty of being involved in both the Kenyan and Ugandan basketball leagues.
