THE local basketball governing body, Fuba, has suspended Lady Bucks playmaker Judith Akoth 'Lulu' from featuring for her club in the remaining MTN league games this season.

The decision comes after the Kenyan born player was found guilty of having been playing for Kenyan sides Telecom and Yana since her S.6 vacation in December 2005.

She returned to Uganda a couple of weeks ago and featured for the record league champions in their 105-62 win over Crane High School on Sunday July 23.

Federation technical chairman Yusuf Nkutu told Daily Monitor that the player could be allowed to re-join Lady Bucks next season and only if the Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) can process her release statement from Yana.

In a related development, Crane High duo of Larissa Kantungeko and Florence Kalume face the same verdict. The two played for former side Berco Stars of Burundi during the just concluded third edition of the Falcons invitational tournament.
