ANGOLA : All-Africa Games/Basketball - Angola Face South Africa

The national senior males basketball team plays against South Africa this Thursday at 05 pm local time, in Algiers, at Staouali pavilion, as part of the quarterfinals of the All-Africa Games.
The national team ended the first phase without a loss, even though the team's performance has not been the best.
Defensive mistakes, weak efficiency during attacks and in free throws, as well as three points shooting, are some of the problems faced by Jaime Covilhã's players.
For this stage, the eight-time African champions, without some of the players who are training in Spain for the African Nations Basketball Championship (Afrobasket2007), are forbidden to lose.
A victory over South Africa will motivate the squad in a group with opponents such as Senegal and Egypt.
