ANGOLA : Afrobasket2007- Fiba-World President Expected Saturday in Luanda
Fiba-world president, Bob Elphinston, of Australia, is expected Saturday in Luanda to attend the final of the 24th African Championship of Basketball (Afrobasket2007) for men, going on in Angola since August 15, Angop learned Thursday from an official source.
According to Leopoldo Baio, with Afrobasket2007 Organising Committee (Cocasm) communication sub-commission, the Fiba official is expected Saturday dawn and will travel to central Benguela province, ahead of the final scheduled for 07:00 pm the same day.Afrobasket2007 final will be played between the winners of Thursday's Egypt-Cameroon and Angola-Cape Verde matches.
