Knight Riders and Ndejje University Angels ruled the MTN-Fuba National Basketball League Men’s Division II in 2008 before stepping up to the big time this season.

They took totally different paths on debut with Riders losing to KIU while Ndejje shot to cloud nine with victory over KCC Lions.
However, those results must be forgotten when the two clash today.

Ndejje were humiliated in their last two games by giants DMark Power and Mogas Falcons while Riders will seek to recover from their defeat to Kampala International University.

“Any promoted team could have had the same results we had (against Power and Falcons),” Ndejje coach-cum-team manager Walker Obedi argued.

Adding that; “we beat them (Riders) twice in the regular season before losing (3-2) in the final play-offs so we there will be favourite.”
Cyrus Kiviiri, Moses Otim and Donald Ssali will lead the University side’s charge.
