Kenyan basketball champions Eagle Wings on Wednesday put up another powerful performance beating Tanzania’s Don Bosco 92-36 in their second zone 5 championship preliminary match played at the Lugogo Gymnasium in Kampala Uganda.
There were only three teams in the pool after APR of Rwanda withdrew from the competition. On Monday Eagle Wings defeated Uganda Christian University 75-64 in their first match.
The Kenyan team now qualifies for the semi finals of the regional competition and will play runners up of Pool A that also has Kenya Ports Authority. The semi finals will be played on Saturday.

Rose Ouma once again was the highest scorer in the match against Don Bosco with 21 points. Susan Akinyi and last year’s premier league Most Valuable Player Samba Mjomba both contributed 17 points while Don Bosco’s Saida Mohammed was the highest scorer for the Tanzanian side with 8 points.
